I moved over to a Thinkpad, but couldn't tolerate the shitty PDF softwares available. My MacBook Pro was within the 14-day return window, so I ended up taking it back to Apple for a full refund. Mac windows emulator onlineThe new PDF should not have this issue. I am not too sure about the technical details, but the workaround was that you should EXPORT the downloaded PDF as a new PDF using Preview. Apparently the issue is linked to how Preview handles certain PDFs based on the file format.
